Por fin llegó el día de la boda de Jennifer y François, la primera de este 2013, y tengo que decir que al principio estaba nerviosilla, como cuando empecé en este mundo e hice mis primeras bodas. Pero en el momento en el que llegué a la Finca Los Pinos y Jennifer y su familia me abrazaron sonriendo, me relajé y disfruté de todas y cada una de las pequeñas cosas que hubo, desde las Damas de Honor con su alegría contagiosa, el novio preparándose con su best man y hablando en francés (vivan las señas y las sonrisas, idiomas universales!!), el Hada Mágica contando un maravilloso cuento sobre un príncipe y una princesa, basado en el noviazgo de Jennifer y François, los invitados llegados de todos los rincones del mundo: Montreal, Dubai, Nueva Zelanda, Suiza, Texas, Granada, …, las divertidas fotos de grupo, los emotivos discursos de los padres y amigos de los novios, el señor Miguel haciendo puros artesanalmente, el rincón de la sisha, la increíble actuación del grupo Los Salvapantallas, en fin, en general, un ambiente genial, y unos novios que son unas bellísimas personas, que se han ganado mi corazón. Muchísimas gracias por haber confiado en mí desde el principio. ¡Les deseo lo mejor!
Si todo salió a la perfección fue sin lugar a dudas, gracias a Víctor Montero, el Wedding Planner, que estuvo pendiente de todos y cada uno de los detalles, y nos facilitó muchísimo nuestro trabajo.

Finally the first wedding of 2013 came around: Jennifer and François’ wedding! I have to admit that I was a bit nervous, like when I first started shooting at wedding events. However, the moment I arrived to Finca Los Pinos, Jennifer and her family hugged me with big smiles. Just then I began to relax and started to enjoy everybody’s experience, from the bridesmaids’ with their contagious happiness all the way to the groom and the best man getting ready and speaking only in French (long live body language, primitive gestures, smiles, and laughs as the only universal language!). Do not let me forget the ceremony that included a Magical Fairy reciting a marvelous fairy tale based on the brides and groom’s courtship in words of “Princess and Prince” and how the guests came from all corners of the world: Dubai, New Zealand, Switzerland, Montreal, Texas and from Granada. There was continually a surprise moment for everybody that attended: the fun group photographs; the emotion evoked from friends’ and families’ speeches; Mr. Miguel making Canarian cigars on location by hand; guests enjoying a still moment smoking the Arabic water pipe in the “shisha corner”; and the energy that evoked non-stop dancing from Los Salvapantallas. At the end, the environment and experience was so beautiful for me, and the bride and groom are wonderful people that have taken a place in my heart. Thank you so much for believing in me from the beginning. I wish the best for you both!
Undoubtedly, the perfect wedding came to be thanks to Victor Montero, the Wedding Planner who was on top of everything and everybody. I owe him a big thanks for the collective success, including mine.
